Why Silicone?
Silicone is made from quartz sand, a naturally occurring product that is found all over the world. Its manufacturing produces significantly less greenhouse gas than alternative materials, like PVC.

Are your collars and leashes waterproof?
Our collars are made primarily from a silicone fabric that's naturally waterproof — it won't absorb water, mud, or odor the way treated fabric does. Each collar also includes a small recycled ripstop section (used for strength at the buckle and D-ring), which is not waterproof itself, so we do recommend rinsing off the collar after exposure to salt water or odor-causing residue.
How do I clean my Herzog collar or leash?
Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth, or rinse with water. Because it's silicone, it won't hold onto dirt, mud, or smell the way fabric does.
How do I find the right size?
Check our size chart before ordering — measure your dog's neck and match it to our size guide. If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for comfort.
Do you recommend your collars for strong pullers?
If your dog is an enthusiastic walker and pulls on their leash, we recommend using a harness when going out on adventures.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — we offer a lifetime warranty on hardware defects under normal use. This covers things like buckles, D-rings, and clips failing due to a manufacturing flaw. It does not cover chewing damage or general wear and tear.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30 day return policy. Please use our Return Portal or email us at emma@herzogshop.com to arrange a return. All products must be returned in original, unused condition with tags on.
Something I ordered is now on sale. Do you offer price adjustments?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer price adjustments. Our sales are for a limited time only and while supplies last.
Why is my discount code not working with a sale item?
Discount codes only work on full price orders.
When will sold-out items be restocked?
We're currently working with a new manufacturer to bring back your favorite styles. Sign up for restock alerts on any sold-out product page to be notified the moment it's back.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to the US and Australia. If you are in another location, check out our stockist page as there may be a reseller in your area.
